Villagers claim the BGF Battalion 1019 mined the main road into Htee Law Thi in Myawaddy Township and put in place a 6am to 6pm curfew, and that extra mines are laid during the curfew to restrict peoples movements.One villager and some livestock have been injured by mines in the area. More mines have allegedly been laid around the village. BGF Battalion 1019 Commander, Kyaw Paw stated that the mines were laid to prevent attacks by the KNLA, and that the people will be safe if they follow orders.
