Excerpt of the story of Aye Maung from the book “Nowhere to be Home: Narratives from Survivors of Burma’s Military Regime.

Aye Maung was a prisoner who was forced to porter in a Tat Ma Daw column and witnessed other porters become mine victims after being forced to walk in the front of the military column as well as Tat Ma Daw soldiers becoming mine victims.
