Two youths in a group of twelve picking mushrooms in northern Myawaddy Township injured, one fatally, by a landmine. The group reportedly crossed the border opposite Phop Phra district of the northern province of Tak Province of Thailand. Both were transported back to Thailand for treatment at Phop Phra District Hospital. News media reports allege that the mines were placed by the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DKBA).
