“My name is Bo Kyi.  I am a joint sectary of Association Assistance for Political Prisoners (Burma).

Regarding use of landmines in Burma, I support the call to stop using landmines by all armed groups in Burma.

Innocent people, including children have greatly been suffered from the impacts of the landmines while I’ve witnessed serious injuries of mines such as loss of leg or arm.   I don’t’ want to see any more at all. I therefore support the call to stop using the mines.”
